What is Quantization of charge?
Quantization of charge is one type of charge in which charge can assume only certain value such as, 0e, 1e, -2e etc. this value may be positive or may be negative.
Quantization of charge = electric charge of object × (e) 1.6 × 10^-19 coulombs.
Quantization of charge formula
Q = ne
where, n = no of electrons (0, 1, 2 etc)
Q = Quantization of charge.
Calculate the number of electron Constituting one Coulomb of charge?
Calculate the number of electron constituting one coulomb of charge – it is calculated with the help of following way.
let’s know about how to calculate number of electron constituting one Coulomb of charge?
First of all, we will know what to find in this question.
In this question, we are being asked that what will be the number of electron in one coulomb of charge.
According to question, first find the number of electron in one coulomb of charge.
You know that, Q = ne
n = Q/e
where, n = number of electron
Q = total charge
e = charge on one electron
Now, according to the formula, we can find the number of electrons.
You know that, Charge of one electron = 1.6 × 10-19
Now, apply the formula for calculating number of electrons in one Coulomb of charge.
Q = ne
total charge = number of electron × charge on one electron
1C = n × 1.6 × 10-19
n = 1 / 1.6 × 10^-19
n = 10 / 16 × 10^18
n = 6.25 × 10 ^18
Number of electron in one Coulomb is 6.25 × 10^18.
How many electron are there in 1 Coulomb of charge?
You know that, electron are there in 1 Coulomb of charge is,

therefore, we can say that no of electron in 1 coulomb of charge is 6.25 × 10 ^18.
